Buasir merupakan penyakit yang terjadi pada bahagian dubur. Ia dapat dikesan dengan adanya pembengkakan pada saluran dubur.
Selalunya, pesakit buasir akan mengalami kesakitan akibat daripada tekanan otot dubur ke atas bengkak tersebut sehingga menyebabkan proses pembuangan air besar menjadi amat perit.
Bengkak yang terjadi adalah disebabkan oleh pengembangan saluran darah pada bahagian dubur atau ketumbuhan sel-sel yang melapisi saluran dubur.
