| Summer in Algeria, particularly in the lead-up to Ramadan, is a popular time for traditional, elaborate weddings. The film follows the preparations and ancient rituals of three rich and lavish family celebrations, each different and unique. At the heart of it are the brides with their hand-made outfits, jewelry and henna party; as well as the local food, music and armed horseman in tribal war dress. In "Algerian wedding", Al Jazeera World has offered a rare glimpse into people's lives by going behind the scenes during the wedding season.
