Money can't buy happiness!

I know some may think this is what rich people say. Guess what, it's true. Only rich people say that because they have experienced what money can and can't buy, so they are the experts. The Arab channel MBC runs a show called 'The Dream'. It asks viewers to a call a number and enter a draw to make a wish and maybe achieve their dream.
Most people wish for a house, a fancy car, money in the bank, etc. This show is a massive success in the Arab region. Everyone has a dream, but not to be happy. All those participants believe that if they win a big house or a million dollars, they would be happy. I wonder what made our happiness nowadays materialistic and artificial, linked to clothes, a house and a big bank account? This is a common perception.
Surprisingly, when you come to argue this idea, people will claim that you are just another rich person who owns everything and can't understand their suffering. But who says all sufferings have to be about houses, cars and money?! Those who fail to pay their bills and mortgages and get kicked out of their houses and are broke can always start all over again.
The media has framed people's ideas that happiness is associated with a comfortable life surrounded with technology, cars etc. A survey was made about those who won the lottery, and in a year or two, they lost all the money they won. I think because they focused on buying too much and saving nothing and became miserable.
I believe money can buy us a lot of things to live comfortably, but you can't buy true friends. If you are very rich, you will rarely have a faithful friend.
When you don't have true friends, you can't be happy. That is the deep meaning for all those who have money – that sincere friends don't exist in the app store or local markets.
So if you don't have millions in the bank, look around – maybe you have what's worth more.
